ArtsPark's Boo Bash this Saturday

Hollywood's 6th annual BOO Bash is this Friday, Oct. 26 Wednesday, Oct. 31, at ArtsPark. Admission is free and will go from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.



Children of all ages are invited to come in costumes to participate in trick or treating, games, face-painting  and a costume contest run by the Hollywood Lakes Civic Association. There will also be a live concert by The Monsters.

The City of Hollywood's Department of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts holds this event every year so kids can have a safe, less scary venue to participate in Halloween festivities. Don't expect the same kind of traumatic experience kids in a small-town movie theater in Britain had earlier this week. Hollywood promises this event is safe for kids of all ages.

UPDATE: BOO Bash has been rescheduled to Halloween day, Wednesday, Oct. 31 according to Hollywood's official site.
