Free Admission to Museum This Saturday

As part of Smithsonian Magazine's annual "Museum Day Live!", the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood will have free admission this Saturday, September 29, 2012.

Every year, participating museums around the country have free admission for one day to celebrate "Museum Day Live!". This day is to recognize how the Smithsonian Museums in Washington, D.C. have free admission all year round.

The Art and Culture Center of Hollywood is one of thousands of museums across the country participating in this event. But before you show up to the museum doors, you must register for a 'Museum Day Live!' ticket.

From Smithsonian Magazine's official website:
  •  Only an official Museum Day Live! ticket is eligible for free entry.
  • One ticket per household, for two people.
  • A ticket will gain entry to only one of the participating museums, excluding parking and special events and exhibits.

Featured exhibits at the Art and Culture Center include:
  • Lori Nozick: Walkabout
  • Alex Trimino: Luminous
  • Justin H. Long: Bow Movement

These exhibits will be open until Oct. 21 if you can't make it to 'Museum Day Live!' this Saturday.
