Free Shredding Event for Residents of Hollywood this Saturday

The City of Hollywood’s Office of the City Clerk, Records and Archive Division is hosting a free shredding event for businesses and residents this Saturday at City Hall.

Hollywood’s Records and Archive division and International Data Depository will have a shredding truck at the west side parking lot of City Hall. Residents and businesses of Hollywood can shred up to five boxes of documents for free.

The event will start at 8 a.m. and will end at 12 p.m. or until the truck is full, so get there early!

Residents must bring proof of Hollywood residency to the event to be allowed to shred.

From Hollywood’s event page:
“This event is being held to heighten the community's awareness of the dangers of identity theft by preventing personally identifiable information from falling into inappropriate hands.”
For more information on the event, contact the Records and Archives Director Richard Roberts at 954-924-3545 or email
